Outdoor Elevators

When a building has no room for an interior shaft, the elevator rises along the facade. We offer the latest outdoor elevators, easy to build and well suited to existing buildings.

Overview

An outdoor elevator is built inside a freestanding steel structure attached to the building, reaching every floor without major interior demolition. That makes it the best fit for villas and for buildings completed before an elevator was ever planned.

An outdoor elevator can be installed with either of two systems, chosen after a site survey:

With a machine room

The motor sits in a dedicated room that needs cooling and air conditioning to protect its quality and service life.

Machine-room-less (gearless)

The motor is placed inside the elevator shaft itself, making the ride smoother and more flexible and freeing the building from a rooftop machine room.

Where it's used

  • Villas and palaces
  • Existing residential buildings
  • Offices and clinics
  • Commercial facades
